What personal data does Elaia Partners process?
Elaia Partners collects and uses only the personal data that are necessary for its business.
Elaia Partners may collect various categories of personal data from clients, including:

- Tax information (tax number, tax status, country of residence)
- Banking, financial and transactional data (bank details, transaction data including transfer information, investor profile, asset value)

Why and on what basis is your personal data used?
Elaia Partners uses clients’ personal data to conclude and execute its contracts, to optimise its risk management and defend its interests in court, and to fulfil various legal and regulatory obligations, including:
- The fight against money laundering and terrorist financing
- Compliance with applicable legislation on international sanctions and embargoes
- The fight against tax fraud, compliance with tax audit and reporting obligations
- Compliance with banking and financial regulations under which Elaia Partners must, in particular
- Evaluate the financial solvency of clients and the suitability of the products offered to their situation
- Prevent unpaid bills
- Respect its duty to advise
- Monitor and report on risks to which the institution may be exposed
- Respond to official requests from duly authorised public or judicial authorities
For how long and where is personal data kept?
Elaia Partners keeps personal data for the longest period of time necessary to comply with applicable legal and regulatory provisions. For clients, information is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and for 10 years after the end of the contractual relationship.
For prospective clients, information is kept for 3 years from the last contact with Elaia Partners.
The data is stored on servers located in Germany.
What rights do clients have and how can they exercise them?
In accordance with the applicable regulations, clients have various rights, namely:
- Right of access: clients can obtain information about the processing of their personal data and a copy of that personal data.
- Right of rectification: if clients believe that their personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, they may request that the personal data be amended accordingly.
- Right to erasure: clients may request the erasure of their personal data to the extent permitted by law.
- Right to restrict processing: clients may request the restriction of the processing of their personal data.
- Right to object: clients may object to the processing of their personal data, for reasons related to their particular situation. Clients have the absolute right to object to the processing of their personal data for the purpose of prospecting.
