Clément Vanden Driessche
Clément leads deep tech investments, working closely with portfolio companies on go-to-market strategy, commercial scaling, and international expansion. He brings deep operational expertise in helping European startups build enterprise sales organizations and navigate complex B2B sales cycles.
Prior to Elaia, Clément worked at Next47, where he was involved in Series A and Series B European investments in B2B tech companies. Beyond deal execution, he led the go-to-market operating model for 30+ US, Israeli, and European B2B scaleups, providing hands-on support on commercial strategy, sales playbooks, and market expansion. Before venture capital, Clément started his career at Safran, a leading aerospace and defense company, as an engineer in 2006. He later switched to Strategy, M&A, and venture capital focused on early-stage deep tech startups, gaining expertise in evaluating complex technical innovations.
Clément's combination of engineering background, corporate M&A experience, and operational GTM expertise makes him a valuable partner to B2B tech founders scaling commercially.
Clément holds a degree from École Supérieure d'Optique and an Executive MSc from ESSEC Business School in Strategy & International Business.
