David Sourdive
David provides strategic guidance to Elaia's biotech portfolio companies on technology development, financing strategy, regulatory pathways, and partnerships with pharmaceutical companies.
David is co-founder and Executive Vice President for Strategic Initiatives at Cellectis, a clinical-stage bio-pharmaceutical company listed on NasdaQ and Euronext. He serves on the boards of Eukarÿs SAS, OmicX SAS, and the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences. Over 20 years, he took Cellectis from a technology concept-based startup to a clinical-stage company, raising over €500 million through private investors, IPOs, and follow-ons, demonstrating expertise in building and financing deep biotech companies.
Prior to Cellectis, David worked in industrial program management at the French Department of Defense (DGA). He holds a degree from École Polytechnique and a PhD in molecular virology from Institut Pasteur, with postdoctoral work at Emory University.
