Florian Denis

Florian leads deep tech investments in biotech, medtech, and cleantech. He works closely with portfolio companies on scientific strategy, regulatory pathways, clinical development, and commercial scaling. His sector expertise spans drug discovery, medical devices, diagnostics, and environmental technologies, where he evaluates complex scientific innovations and helps founders navigate the unique challenges of life sciences and climate tech.

Prior to Elaia, Florian worked as an Equity Research analyst within the healthcare division of Société de Bourse Gilbert Dupont (Société Générale), where he covered European biotech and medtech companies, gaining deep sector knowledge and financial analysis expertise. Before that, he was an Associate at Auriga Partners, a European venture capital firm focused on tech and healthcare investments. This dual experience in both investment and research gives him a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare investment landscape.

Florian holds a Master in Management of Technology and Innovation from Université Paris Dauphine, Mines Paristech, and ENS, as well as an MSc from Sup'Biotech Paris.
