Pierre Besse

Pierre leads the compliance and risk management frameworks across Elaia and Lazard Elaia Capital. He is responsible for ensuring full regulatory compliance, implementing internal controls, and driving comprehensive risk mitigation strategies across all fund activities.

Prior to joining Elaia and LEC, Pierre was Compliance Manager at Committed Advisors, where he honed his expertise in financial control and regulatory oversight. He began his career at EY, advising private equity clients on audit and risk matters. With over a decade of experience in compliance, risk management, and audit across both primary and secondary private equity funds, Pierre is recognized for his ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical, operationally effective frameworks.

He holds a Master’s degree from NEOMA Business School and is a registered "Responsable de la conformité et du Contrôle Interne" ("RCCI') for both Elaia and LEC.
